Let's cut to the chase and tell you how to find the best things to sell on eBay.

1. Head over to eBay pulse. This delivers a snapshot of the eBay marketplace. eBay Pulse features top 10 popular searches, popular stores, popular products and those with highest price.

2. You'll be presented with the "popular searches" on the left hand side. The top 10 in the UK is currently: U K, cars, UK, next, mobile phones, laptop, river island, wii games, topshop and xbox 360 games.

3. This list is OK, but far too generic. Click on the category drop down list, let's choose "Cars, Motorcycles & Vehicles". We're presented with this list:

1. left hand drive lhd

2. cars

3. spares or repair

4. classic cars

5. mini

6. bmw

7. mercedes

8. range rover

9. vans

10. vauxhall corsa

Ebay Selling Tips

Notice what's a position number 10 "Vauxhall Corsa". You could do a search for cheap "Vauxhall Corsa's" in your area, buy low and then place on eBay to sell high. Note: Best time to finish a car auction is Sunday afternoon, giving the buyer enough time to collect.
